Why stay here ...

Tudor Springs Certificated Location is a member owned tranquil site in East Yorkshire. It is set on the outskirts of Cottingham, said to be one of the largest villages in England. Adults, children and pets are welcome. The site itself is located in 1 acre, set up to take caravans, motorhomes and awnings. All of our pitches have an area of grass and an area of hardstanding. Steel awning pegs are recommended.

The site is an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area including Hull (City of Culture 2017) with its many museums (free), The Deep - one of the most spectacular aquariums in the world (admission charge), the Marina and further up the beautiful East Yorkshire Nature Coast with its country houses, beaches, lighthouses, RSPB Reserve at Bempton Cliffs all topped off with deliciously fresh fish and chips! The Humber Bridge, one of the world's longest single suspension bridges, is within a twenty minute drive and the gateway to the south bank and Lincolnshire.

A footpath with street lights takes you from the site to Cottingham village with its small national award winning (Best Small Outdoor Market) weekly market on Thursdays, local shops family friendly pubs serving excellent cask ales and home cooked food, all approximately 1.5 miles from the site. Within 2.5 miles there is a cinema, bowling alley, shopping complex, restaurants and large supermarket. Accessible by car, train or bus (from Cottingham village), the historic town of Beverley is 6 miles away, with the Minster, St Mary’s Church, the North Bar and weekly markets on Saturdays and a smaller one on Wednesdays.

The site is ideally located for visiting students at Hull University, stopovers for P & O North Sea ferry crossings or stay a bit longer and explore the area. The caravan site also has facilities for CaSSOA Gold approved secure Caravan and Motorhome storage; see our Facebook page for more details.

Philip and Lesley look forward to welcoming you.

Great little place

The site is just outside Cottingham. It's walkable, but as I had a bike I went for a wander. The town/village has everything you could need. 2 launderettes, an Aldi, Co-op, Sainsburys and Loads of pubs and places to eat. Would set to stay again 👍

Pleasant Site

A pleasant site though no views. It is rather isolated with no buses nearby and a very long walk into Cottingham; OK with a bike. Warm welcome and fresh eggs for sale.

Brilliant

We arrived and, as promised, the board at the gate told us which pitch to go to. We were welcomed shortly after arriving by Lesley who was very friendly and informative about the local area and site facilities. The site is basic but had everything we needed and we knew... Show more

Brilliant CL!

We have stayed at this site twice this year and did pre Covid. We were disappointed to read the previous reviews, and feel they are unfair to Lesley and Phillip who are providing a spot on CL. In our marks/ratings, they are reduced in some categories but this is due... Show more

Mixed feelings

Lesley was very welcoming and informative. The site has water EHU and waste disposal but is very basic and tired looking. Felt like we were in the middle of an Industrial estate. Lots of weeds and overgrown pitches that could be easily tidied up. I also had to pick up... Show more

Well located

Really well located for visiting Hull and (the fantastic town of) of Beverley. Excellent communications from the Owner, who gave us a warm welcome and checked up with us after a few days. No problems with electric and water/toilet dump were well located. Not the prettiest site but flat hardstanding... Show more

Not a pretty site

This site has everything you need, water and disposal wise. And lots of things you don't want, like a view of the massive electricity distribution system directly opposite your front window, and the scruffy unkempt look of the site surface in general, which you had to look across to see...
