Why stay here ...
Our CL site is set on a former working farm and set in 10 acres of beautiful open countryside.
The site is in a fenced field and the pitches are lawned with electric hookups and have a space for awnings and are surrounded by trees and hedging.
We have a petting farm with donkeys called Teddy and Eeyore, Pigs (Pepper and George), Ponies, Sheep, Goats, Ducks and Chickens.
There is a football pitch and a dog walk around the site and a choice of bridleways. The Trans Pennine way runs along a disused railway track. Our CL is within walking distance to the local pub with a restaurant and a small shop and the local supermarket is 4 miles away. The seaside town of Hornsea is an easy 4 mile drive and Mappleton beach is 2 miles away. The historic market town of Beverley with the beautiful Beverley minster is well worth a visit and there are good shops, bars and restaurants and a new cinema. The deep Underwater World in the city of Hull is an interesting day out as are the Musuems and there are lots of shops at St Stephens Shopping Centre and Princess Quay, and Hull is going to be The City of Culture in 2017. We are close to the Yorkshire Wolds and within easy driving distance to the Yorkshire Moors, Bridlington, Scarbrough, Whitby and the City of York.

A true hidden gem!
We wanted to find a site that was close to us for a long weekend as to not waste time travelling and booked in to Clapham Holme Farm. This really has to be one of the best CL sites that we have stayed at and we will not hesitate... Show more

Delightful surprise

Great CL
What a wonderful CL level pitches on a huge field with short grass . Great dog walk surrounding the site. Everything is so very well kept. Nice pub within a 5 minute walk . A lovely peaceful location yet handy for Beverley, Hornsea and Hull. Definitely would recommend anyone wanting... Show more

Simply excellent CL.

Fantastic CL
This is a great CL; it's spacious, with electric hook-up. The site is flat and grassy and evidently very well looked after. We enjoyed seeing the donkeys! It's in a very peaceful rural location, though not far from Hull and Hornsea. We enjoyed visiting some of the City of Culture events... Show more

Excellent CL
This is an excellent CL in a lovely area. The site is spacious,very quiet and level. Facilities are very good. Lots of attractions within a few miles and a good local pub just up the road from the site. We received a very warm welcome on arrival and a big goodbye... Show more
