Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway
Heritage railway with Signal Box Inn, the smallest pub in Britain, crazy golf, take-away food and gift shop.
View and BookOur CL is situated on the outskirts of Easington which is a small village on the plain of Holderness, set between the North Sea and the River Humber. The site is tranquil, set in a sheltered flat lawned area of 1.5 acres with mature tress and hedges, hard standings and electric hook ups.
The surrounding countryside is ideal for walking, cycling, horse riding, beach lovers and bird watching (the Spurn Point Bird Reserve being only 5 miles away). There is a dog walk nearby and we also have sea and river fishing only 2 miles away and coarse fishing (3 miles).
There is an historic Tithe Barn in the village and a village trail to show you around the points of interest.
Every Saturday you will be made welcome at the village Charity Coffee Morning (supporting a different charity every week), there is a local shop (1/2 mile) and the local bus service which will take you to Withernsea, Patrington or Hull.
In Withernsea (7 miles) you will find a leisure centre with a pool.

Lovely site, very well maintained, really friendly owners. The reason I've given it only 4 stars, is for me, there was too much traffic noise, although it did stop in the evening and was not in the night, it was all day long. I admit I'm not used to traffic, therefore most... Show more

We spent three nights here the first week in July to visit Spurn Point and the new Discovery Centre. A price of £16-00 is what we consider to be very top end for a C.L. but this site justifies its price with ease. The facilities are comparable to most commercial sites and... Show more
