Why stay here ...

High Breame is on the outskirts of Flamborough overlooking Danes Dyke, where Deer, Barn Owls, Woodpeckers visit and can been seen on a daily basis. This quiet and peaceful location boasts a large hedge around the perimeter together with locked gates giving total security at all times. The beach and cliffs are 10 minute walk where a cliff walk to Bridlington will take 50 minutes, going the opposite direction takes you to the Lighthouse on the peninsular which takes approximately 1 hour, where you can spot Seals drifting in the coves, there is also the Lifeboat Station at South Landing which will take 20 minutes walk away and fishing trips from North Landing about 25 minute walk.

Flamborough is a perfect location for visits to Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough, Whitby and York with Sewerby Hall some 15 minute walk having gardens and the small train going into Bridlington Seafront every 30 minutes. There is also the popular miniature village to meander round.

Flamborough village is 10 minute walk away where you will find the supermarket and several Pubs/ Restaurants giving good quality meals at reasonable prices. There is also 2 Fish and Chip shops together with a Pizza House.

High Breame is on the local bus route taking you into Bridlington, (every half hour) which boasts fishing trips, boat trips, shops, amusements etc, together with the Bridlington Spa full of entertainment. Freshly caught Crab, Lobster, Sea Trout, Salmon and of course Sea Bass to be found locally too.

The fields and cliffs give great photographic opportunities and fantastic views where Puffin, Gannets, Guillemots and Razorbills nest in huge quantities during the breeding season in early summer. Bempton Cliffs is an RSPB site. (RSPB@bempton.co.uk )

There are two excellent links golf courses. The Links is half a mile away, the other (The Headland Course) is 1.5 miles away on Flamborough Headland.

Clean beaches, fantastic Cliff tops and walks together with all the wildlife make this a superb site to call your base.

wonderful site in fantastic location

High Breame
We are fond of this area and decided to try this adult only site after reading previous reviews. Early booking was required and when we arrived I could see why. Owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It became clear during our stay that many people on site were returners and I fully appreciate why. The site was well maintained and pitches spacious. All had their own electric, water and waste. Electricity was by card meter, which I like as we are not heavy users, as a result we had a rebate on leaving. John an Kim were lovely hosts and always had time to chat if you wanted. They were also knowledgeable on the area and gave great advice on places to walk and visit. Their suggestion of having a meal at The Seabirds in Flamborough was certainly a good one. Food superb and you can easily walk there from site in around 10 minutes. Many thanks John and Kim we will be back again in the future.

What a Find

High Breame
John & Kim made us very welcome and what a beautifully kept site this is. Ideally situated for the dog friendly local beach at Danes Dyke. NYMR Heritage Railway is not too far for a nostalgic trip to Goathland (Heartbeat Country) or Whitby. Flamborough Head where you can watch Seals and the birdlife. We have just spent our 2 week summer holiday here and it was just perfect. Quiet & peaceful, good dog walks off site, very secure, most of the other people staying on site were returning campers. Very busy site due to it's popularity.

Outstanding site set near so many breathtaking walks.

High Breame
What a wonderful friendly site this is , John and Kim made us so welcome and they should be so proud of what they have achieved. We were lucky enough to have our stay extended as weather was outstanding and we found the local walks breathtaking, our little dog called Molly absolutely loved it especially playing with Spud! The village is a short walk away with a large Co-op and a couple of nice pubs. Bus stops are practically on your doorstop what more could you wish for. Shower and toilet clean and adequate as expected. We will certainly return to this lovely site.

Loved it

High Breame
A wonderful, warm welcome from hosts John and Kim. We felt really comfortable and safe in the fully enclosed site. Flamborough is a lovely little village with lots of excellent pubs and local shops. There's even a Co-op if you need a supermarket or a cash machine. Although most shops and pubs take card many do not !! We enjoyed a day at Danes Dyke, just a short walk from the site, and then continued on to the beach. After a short break we headed up to the cliff top walk heading for the Lifeboat Station. Lots of wildlife to look out for on this spectacular walk. Beware, VERY steep access from the beach to the cliff top. North Landing was well worth the walk with lots of Puffins and Razor Bills to keep us entertained. Boat trips are a feature as well with a half hour trip to Smugglers Cave and the bird sanctuary for eight pounds
