Dirt Karts - Bere Regis, Dorset
Experience adrenaline-fuelled thrills of off-road karting as you put your driving skills to the ultimate test.
View and BookOn the outskirts of Sturminster Marshall lies Dorset Springs. An idyllic location set amongst lakes, paddocks and meadows. The lakes are pleasant to walk around and the surrounding fields are grazed by sheep. Due to the close proximity of the lakes, young children must be closely supervised and for this reason lakeside pitches are restricted to adults only. Fishing is not permitted.
There is chemical emptying point, water tap, outdoor washing up area and a toilet on site. Awnings are welcome. A single shower is available to those that do not have their own facilities for example VW T5/T6 and small caravans.
We welcome all the family including well behaved pets but we politely request that they are kept under close control. Sturminster Marshall village is approximately 1/2 a mile away. There is a farm shop with cafe, a small convenience store with a small off licence, pharmacy and pub.
The local towns of Blandford, Wimborne and Poole offer historical attractions and leisure facilities. They have services including restaurants, pub, chip shop, petrol station, supermarkets and a variety of shops. For families there are a variety of soft play venues, cinema and Farmer Palmers. Poole has a train station and ferry port, so we are an ideal location for a stop-over on the way to or from France. We welcome visitors all year round whether it is for a stop over, a weekend or a relaxing holiday.
Dorset Springs is the ideal base to explore Dorset whether it's exploring the countryside, the Jurassic coast, National Trust sites including Kingston Lacey and Corfe Castle, or enjoying beautiful coastal walks. Enjoy the sandy beaches of Sandbanks, the stony shores of Lulworth or take a step back in time and visit Tyneham. It is also a great base for local events including the Great Dorset Steam fair and Dorset County Show. With this on the door step you can be as adventurous or as relaxed as you like.

We enjoyed our stay but did not see the owners at all. We tried walking the dog outside the gates but the road was treacherous, huge lorries on a narrow road. We managed to get to the local shop, where we asked about another way back. We're told to walk across... Show more

What a gorgeous site! We were met by Dori when we arrived and as we didn't need EHU, were given the option to pitch beside the lake. We had an idyllic view with swans and ducks on the lake, the occasional fish jumping for food and geese flying... Show more

This is a site that I would not hesitate to return to, it has all the features as described by others. Sadly I never met the owners to speak to, and was unaware that you could use a shower if you paid a deposit, as all the doors were locked.... Show more

We have stayed at Dorset Springs 4 times now since we bought our caravan in 2021. We like it here because of the location- there is plenty to do locally and it is near my parents house. The pitches are brilliant- there are 5 hard standing that are big and... Show more

We took our five year old and dogs to stay here. It is a relaxing site and we enjoyed watching the anglers watching their lines, and the moorhen with her babies following, and the mallard sitting on her nest. There is plenty to do in the area, and some nice... Show more

Possibly the best CL I have stayed on. I gave 4 stars for peace & tranquility because the entrance to the site is directly off the A350 and about 1/4 mile to the north of the busy A31 so with a SW wind blowing you do get some background road... Show more
