Ravens and buzzards abound by day, badgers and deer at night. Situated on the edge of the Purbecks, and close to the renown Jurassic Coast (Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are 11 miles away). it is the ideal location for visiting Dorset's well-known attractions such as Monkey World, The Bovington Tank Museum, Sculpture by the Lake, several National Trust sites, the picturesque seaside resorts of Weymouth and Poole, and Brownsea Island to name but a few.
The site is spacious with glorious views, and is situated off a small, quiet country road. There is a local shop less than a mile away, and a good choice of pubs in the area. There are plenty of places to walk or cycle close by offering forest/heathland areas, or coastal hills. Two stables are available for riders wishing to bring their own horses.
