This certainly is a little gem of a CL. I'm sure lots of people will have their gripes about the grass not being the regimental length or the ground being a little bumpy etc, but if you love peace and quiet and easy access to walking/ cycling trails and everything... Show more

Stayed here for three nights. Easy to find. The lane approaching the site was a little bumpy but nothing to worry about. The field was surrounded on three sides by trees which made it feel very safe and secure. Nice sunny spot. The grass was not like a... Show more

One of the nicest CL's in Dorset, it's a quiet, peaceful hideaway site with direct access straight into Wareham Forest. The grass was solid even after torrential rain and there's lots of space to spread out. Facilities are very clean and tidy with a CDP, fresh water and bins.... Show more

Contrary to some of the previous reviews we found the site to be well kept and the access lane reasonable. The description understates the surrounding area. We missed the site at first because the map reference is wrong. It should be 50.709862, -2.142137. We checked in with Mrs Rowberry who... Show more

Nice site tucked away in woodland paddock No electric yet but owner now considering it. Very bumpy so have things stowed securely away. Fairly quiet apart from some dog barking and children playing in the next field another site I believe but not visible. Chemical waste point ,recycling bins waste water point and fresh... Show more

It would be easy to be too negative about this site but there is definitely work needed to bring it up to standard. The field is one of the roughest we have been on and we would not have wanted to sit out. The view is non existent because of... Show more
