Why stay here ...

Gosford Park CL is situated in the beautiful East Devon countryside. We are a working farm with lovely views to the South East. We have easy access just one minute from the A30 yet retaining the peace and tranquility of the country.

Sidmouth, Exmouth and Exeter are all within easy driving distance and local attractions such as Crealy Park and Escot Park which hosts the Beautiful Days Festival are close to hand.

Cadhay Country House is within walking distance and is open during the summer.

Bicton Park  Botanical Gardens is also close to hand and is around a 15 minute drive.

Shore fishing is readily available from the shore in Ladrum Bay Exmouth and the local fishing village of Beer. Trout and carp fishing is available close by at South View Fisheries Exeter and Upton Lakes Colompton.

The Jurassic coast starts from Seaton extending eastwards for ten miles.

Skydiving and hot air ballooning is available locally for the more adventurous visitor as well as a good selection of country pubs and restaurants.

You can enjoy not only the benefits of a green and pleasant all grass site, but have the added benefit of our own pure water from our certificated water well and our farm shop selling in season produce such as our own free range eggs, home produced lamb, pork and beef when available.

We have a washing machine and dryer, shower and flushing toilet on site and a good proportion of our electricity is produced by a solar generator located within the construction of our livestock barn.

Wildlife abounds with many birds and mammals.

Farm walks are available on request but dogs must be kept on leads at all times. The routes may change depending on which fields we have the sheep and cattle in. There is an attractive carp pond with a sun deck to relax on in the old water meadow.

The market town of Honiton, well known for its lace is approximately 4 miles away. Our nearest small town, Ottery St Mary, is historically connected to the poet Samuel Coleridge Taylor. The beautiful church St Mary’s is well worth a visit along with the Tumbling WeirOtter Nurseries is one of the largest garden centers in Devon and is less than one mile away and a Sainsbury’s  supermarket is located in Ottery St Mary.

We have a holiday let on site that is available for let year round and also a static caravan. Please check out our Website. We look forward to welcoming you to our site.

Value, and a tumble dryer…

Access is fine if you enter past the farm shop on the main road. No issues at all. The recent wet weather turns the grass to mud, but if you’re careful and carry boots, OK. This is a good value stopover. Well placed for Ottery St Mary and the larger Honiton, there are... Show more

Bramble Lane

I am sorry to say that it is not surprising there are no reviews for this site since 2022, finding the site was quite difficult, do not go down Gosford Lane, we now have two very deep scratches on our caravan windows from the brambles. On arrival we looked... Show more

Single night stop over

We used this site as a stop-over on the way to Cornwall and I guess alarm bells should have been ringing when I called about availability for a single night and the response was that they were sure they could fit us in somewhere! Now, I have to be honest... Show more

Return visit again!

Just returned from another stay at Gosford Park. Site was clean, freshly mowed and John and Anne welcoming as usual. A bonus this visit is the new access roadway from the farm shop entrance through to the caravan park, instead of using the narrow Gosford Road. Well done... Show more
