Home away from home
A truly lovely little site. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with views across the moor. Peaceful at night with just the sounds of the numerous owls in the trees. Nice footpaths all around to walk and explore and located close to Dartmoor and easy access to the A30 if you want... Show more

What a lovely little gem
We are here for 12 nights,so pleased we are,very easy to find, and a lovely warm greeting from Daves son Shaun, like father like son,very warm and friendly. The site is beautifully kept.Very clean toilets and showers, and very good value washing machine and drier.All pitches are hard... Show more

Venn lake CL is one of those hidden gems you find every so often. So well kept with many extras not normally provided for the daily rate charged. As previous reviewers have said Dave, the owner, is a real character and very helpful. Nothing’s too much trouble. ... Show more

Sixth Site This Month and My Favourite 😍
Absolutely loved this site. Feels such a peaceful place, and we were amazed that only a 5 minute walk away was a Co-op supermarket and a fab garden centre with a cafe! Bus stops near here also. David was very welcoming and helpful, and often stopped what he was doing... Show more

Friendly and welcoming
Dave runs a lovely and tranquil site and is most helpful and friendly. Couldn't do enough really. The site is away from the hustle and bustle of life but close to a decent sized Co-op and a garden centre which serves excellent food in its cafe. Check out the art... Show more

Good site for Motorhome
A nice peaceful well run site, the owner’s are very friendly and welcoming. This is our second visit and our motorhome is 7.5 meters long, the pitches are more than adequate to accommodate a vehicle of this length.
