As previously stated lovely level well kept grass field & the odd steam train passing. Apart from that & despite the nearby busy A6 very quiet. But to note for the less able among us. The toilet is situated adjacent to the stable museum reception which is approx. 150-200yds away from... Show more

Visited this quiet CL September 2014 for the first time. Easy to find and nice welcome. Quiet level site with the added bonus of having a steam train go by a few times a day several days a week. Ideal for visiting all the sites of Peak District. Would definitely... Show more
