We wanted to stay over our Easter break. Drove past last weekend to find a DA on the supposed “EXCLUSIVE hard standing 5 van site”. We was therefore unable to get on. Luckily we found somewhere close by, but drove past again on our way home this weekend to find... Show more

Wonderful Weekend.

Everything you could desire at a price that will make you feel like a crook. The scenery and local trails are breath-taking. Short walk to the local village full of country charm. Will definitely be back.

A friendly welcome and so helpful

We’ve been to this site before and it is one of our favourites. The views are stunning and it is nicely located for a walk to the local pub (The Nelson - approx 20 minute walk over the fields), and for walking into Wirksworth. Be sure to look out... Show more

Lovely Site

Being a Caravaner Richard knows what a member wants, whether it on the CL or the rally field he goes out of his way to ensure your visit is enjoyable. Will I be back? You bet, need I say more!

Excellent Site

A warm welcome from the owners to their CL site., which has 5 hard standing pitches and a rally field. There is a bit of road noise through the day but quiet on a night. On a weekend breakfast and afternoon teas are available. Breakfast was excellent. Electricity is metered. There... Show more

Good site, pleasant stay

A good site to set up and explore places of interest from, owners very welcoming and helpful. Site has good basic amenities for the off grid fraternity; self levelling or ramps needed. Excellent open views of the surrounding countryside and no road noise. No problem with internet access and... Show more
