Great CL
Lovely peaceful site. Although there are chickens and guinea fowl who do let you know they are there no problem for us. There is a long hose which is connected to a tap at the side of the bungalow so we had no problem filling our on board tank. There is... Show more

Not for our motorhome
Was amazed to find, on arrival that there was no tap within hosepipe range. This is surely a must for motorhomes. The owner was a friendly lady and in the end we managed to fashion something by breaking a join in a hose that connects to the toilet disposal tap... Show more

A Relaxing site
Used this site en-route to Monmouthshire for two nights. Wished we could have stayed longer, the site was situated on an elevated position offering excellent views of this wonderful countryside, we were made very welcome by Mrs Wale. We would definitely return for a longer visit.

Nice friendly site
Small farm site with chickens, geese, ducks etc. Sloping so need levellers. Owner very friendly and extremely helpful. Near to many interesting places. Definitely worth a visit.

Good for adults too
The site was easy to find and the welcome very friendly, with the owner show us where water etc. was. With hens and guinea fowl running about through the day there was always something to watch and with the guinea fowl to hear too. From the site it is easy... Show more

Every Kids Dream
If you have kids and want a lovely little CL, then this is the site for you. It is on a working farm and if you like seeing livestock running free then it is a dream. My daughter was in heaven when we arrived as there was ducks, chickens, geese... Show more

Nice CL
A small but nice and quiet CL.with wonderful views all round.Owner friendly and welcoming. We found the hens and ducks etc on site interesting - they didn't mind us at all. if you have more than an average length van you need to go down the field to get off... Show more

If you don't like livestock then this site is not for you. But if your like us and can watch the chickens, ducks, peacocks and many other farm birds running around the site then you will love it here. It's a short drive into Matlock. There are many... Show more
