Why stay here ...

Our site is set in the heart of the countryside between Dale Abbey and Stanton by Dale, and a short drive between Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, we have miles of walks directly from site where you can visit hermits wood and cave (approx mile), there is a 5 mile circular walk that takes you through locko Park which is a beautiful place to visit, you can also drive to this location where they have limited parking. Please note: dogs must be kept on a lead.

We have Three local pubs all are dog friendly and all serve food, along with a licensed tearoom/cafe half mile up the lane if you fancy a cooked breakfast or afternoon tea. If you want to relax for a bit on site we have two enclosed excersise fields for your dogs to enjoy, we have lots of wildlife to enjoy including rabbits, buzzards, swallows, woodpeckers and many other species.

Or why not venture a bit further out to Wollaton Hall and Park, Elvaston Castle, Calke Abbey, there are numerous golf courses approx 5+ miles away, beechwood fishery approx 6 miles away they also have 4/5 fishing lakes for all coarse fishing. We are approx ten minutes off junction 25 of the motorway bur fortunately you cannot here any traffic noise, we have a 14ft gateway and have no problems with bigger units.

We are a very dog friendly site and we know your fur baby's will love all our area has to offer.

Excellent stay

Just returned from an 8 night stay. We were really impressed with the pricing and metering of electricity. Very fair. Surrounding area great for walking dog and 2 cafes and 2 pubs within walking distance. Definitely recommend

So good you want to keep it to yourself

We came across this adults only site just this year, it is one of those sites you wish you had found sooner! That being said we have visited 5+ times this year as it is close to home for a weekend break. I recommend going through the village of Stanton... Show more

Fantastic small campsite

I really liked it here. Small, not too busy, quiet and clean. Other campers used chocks but I was ok. Dog walking field and the public footpaths are within minutes walk away. So great for dogs. I didn't get a chance to visit the Cowshed eatery, but it's quite close.... Show more
