View and BookOur site is set in the heart of the countryside between Dale Abbey and Stanton by Dale, and a short drive between Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire, we have miles of walks directly from site where you can visit hermits wood and cave (approx mile), there is a 5 mile circular walk that takes you through locko Park which is a beautiful place to visit, you can also drive to this location where they have limited parking. Please note: dogs must be kept on a lead.
We have Three local pubs all are dog friendly and all serve food, along with a licensed tearoom/cafe half mile up the lane if you fancy a cooked breakfast or afternoon tea. If you want to relax for a bit on site we have two enclosed excersise fields for your dogs to enjoy, we have lots of wildlife to enjoy including rabbits, buzzards, swallows, woodpeckers and many other species.
Or why not venture a bit further out to Wollaton Hall and Park, Elvaston Castle, Calke Abbey, there are numerous golf courses approx 5+ miles away, beechwood fishery approx 6 miles away they also have 4/5 fishing lakes for all coarse fishing. We are approx ten minutes off junction 25 of the motorway bur fortunately you cannot here any traffic noise, we have a 14ft gateway and have no problems with bigger units.
We are a very dog friendly site and we know your fur baby's will love all our area has to offer.

October to April: £17.00 per night, metred electricity at cost with 10 units included

Just returned from an 8 night stay. We were really impressed with the pricing and metering of electricity. Very fair. Surrounding area great for walking dog and 2 cafes and 2 pubs within walking distance. Definitely recommend

As someone else has already said, this site is so good that you want to keep it to yourself. It is SO peaceful. The only road noise was a couple of horses clopping by every morning. And yet in minutes, you're on the M6 or in Ilkeston if you need... Show more

We came across this adults only site just this year, it is one of those sites you wish you had found sooner! That being said we have visited 5+ times this year as it is close to home for a weekend break. I recommend going through the village of Stanton... Show more

I really liked it here. Small, not too busy, quiet and clean. Other campers used chocks but I was ok. Dog walking field and the public footpaths are within minutes walk away. So great for dogs. I didn't get a chance to visit the Cowshed eatery, but it's quite close.... Show more

Aidie and Leslie Hall ' CL SITE' Moorfield Farm Barn near Ilkeston just 10 mins away from M6 .To the rescue 💪.. after parking on the wrong pitch, not the one we should have been on, because of the torrential rain, they helped us after a particularly heavy overnight downpour.... Show more

Great little site, spacious and beautiful. Communication and ease of entry was perfect. Really friendly owners too. I only stayed the one night but hope to come back soon.

Really lovely CL site nice and peaceful bit hilly on site we have a motor home only our 2nd outting no leveling blocks and realised quickly we need them lol spoke to owners next day and they lent us wooden leveling chocks he had made couldn't fault the site in... Show more

Stayed here for 2 nights when we were visiting family in Nottingham. Really lovely site. Immaculate. Quiet. Peaceful. Very friendly owners. Close to Nottingham and Derby. Moorfield Farm Barn had been recommended by a friend as a great location to spend time walking with our dogs. The site is beautifully kept with a large secure paddock for the dogs away from other residents for exercise/toileting with bin provided. Lesley and Ady are on hand if... Show more
