View and BookAdults only from 2023. Whitehouse Farm is a quiet CL located in a small hamlet close to the popular village of Hartington. Ideally situated within the Peak District National Park with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. There are an abundance of walks from site including the stunning Wolfscote, Biggin and Beresford Dales. The Tissington Cycle Trail is approximately 100 metres away.
Hartington Village is within walking distance (1 1/4 miles) with pubs, cafes, village stores and the famous cheese shop. The local pub at Biggin is a 20 minute walk across the fields.
The attractive towns of Buxton, Bakewell, Ashbourne and Matlock are all within a 20 minute drive. Attractions within a 25 minute drive include Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Alton Towers, Peak Wildlife Park, Heights of Abraham and Buxton Opera House.
There is a bus stop just down the lane where you can catch the Buxton to Ashbourne bus.

We enjoyed this relaxing site that much we have booked another 2 trips. The pitch it’s self was plenty big enough and nice and tidy .We have an on board water tank so our hose didn’t stretch to the tap however our host let us borrow one of hers so... Show more

A pretty little site with wonderful views (we stayed on the first pitch). Lovely walks from the site, as long as you don't mind getting muddy!! We stayed in March for 11nts and although the weather wasn't kind for us, we still managed to get out and about. Our only disappointment... Show more

Just returned from this CL. It is as described, peaceful and rural. As cyclists we were heading for the Tissington Trail. It is 100m from the site but the access is not suitable for bikes as it is a footpath with a narrow opening and tree roots and a step... Show more

Very pleasant owners, Tissington trail close by (easiest access by bike not down the public footpath but back to lane top, turn left and a few hundred yards the road bridges over the trail with an incline down to it from the road). Motorhomes fill with water in the lane... Show more
