Why stay here ...
Our CL is a quiet, secluded site nestling beside the High Peak trail (a former railway) now very popular with walkers and cyclists and we have direct access to it off our site. A five minute cycle ride brings you to the Tissington Trail. The site has part hard standing and spacious lawned level pitches complete with electric points, with attractive views across the surrounding countryside. Arbor Low Stone Circle is 1 mile away. We are centrally positioned for many beautiful river walks including Dovedale, Lathkill, Monsal and Wolfscote Dale. From the site you can often observe wild Ducks, Curlew, Lapwings, Moorhen and Geese.
Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park and Kedleston Hall are all within easy reach.

A lovely site.
We had a warm welcome and introduction to the site. The views are great and it is tidy and well kept. Direct access to the Tissington trail and close to so many things to do in the area. Some people mention the road noise but we didn’t really notice it... Show more

Lovely short break cycling and dog walking
Beautifully kept site a good distance from the road so easy access but nice and quiet too. Has own access gate to the High Peak Trail so cycling and dog walking very easy. Jug and Glass pub within a 15 min walk but we never used. A couple of cafe's... Show more

Perfect for the trails

Brilliantly located for walkers and Cyclists

Stunning location
Our second visit to this site. It really is a stunning location and access to the High Peak and Tissington cycle trails couldn't be more perfect. Yes there is traffic noise, which we don't usually tolerate, but it really didn't bother us as the location and surroundings more... Show more

Great site for cycling
If you are looking for great access to the cycling trails then look no further! This site has direct access to the High Peak trail which in turn is only a five minute cycle from the Tissington trail. There are two hardstandings. There were several grass pitches not in use... Show more

Great little site, fabulous walking
Lovely location in the heart of the White Peak. Pro’s - - Access is easy from the main road, easy to find, well signposted - Couldn’t be closer to the walking trails, the High Peak Trail is through a gate at the corner of hte site. The Tissington trail... Show more
