We stayed 2 nights in June 2024. The site is unique in being on grass in the grounds of Netherhall estate, although the main house has gone. It is surrounded by trees, rhododendrons and wild flowers; absolute tranquillity. The weather was gorgeous, which added to the pleasure of sitting outside... Show more

Just returned from a very peaceful 5 night stay here. Lovely ladies run the site; very friendly and helpful. We were fascinated by the history of Netherhall - in some ways quite a romantic feel to the place and the stable yard is fantastic. Easy walk to more historic buildings... Show more

We stayed for a week and realised it’s not long enough. So much to see and do or just chill in the lovely grounds watching the trees and flowers whilst catching a glimpse of the resident owls. Quirky facilities but all working well. For fresh fish lovers, there is no... Show more

Site is in grounds of old manor house, very well kept with open aspect. Site area surrounded by rhododendrons and trees. Site is within walking distance of Maryport town. Very friendly people running the site. Our first visit but would definitely go again. Exception value for money😊

We stayed for 2 nights in October so that we could visit friends in Maryport. Booking over the phone was casual, so I had an idea what to expect on arrival. We were told how to get through the locked gates and found this to be perfectly straightforward. On arrival... Show more

We really liked this site but it was spoilt for one reason......dogs running wild. The site manager has 3 large dogs that roam the site when she is around. They are never on a lead. A caravan arrived with 4 little dogs that were allowed to roam the entire site... Show more
