Keswick Certificated Locations

Keswick is located by the banks of Derwentwater, one of the finest of the lakes. As well as some superb lakeside walks, motorboat rides can be enjoyed and rowing boats are available for hire.

The town itself features the Theatre by the Lake, the Cars of the Stars Museum, the Keswick Pencil Museum and, just on the outskirts, the Castlerigg Stone Circle. It has a weekly market and a wealth of places to eat and drink.

Keswick also makes a superb base for walkers, with options ranging from the 3,000 ft. climb up Skiddaw to smaller hills such as Latrigg and the path along the old railway line towards Threlkeld.
