The site is well located for walks and visits to Arnside, Heron Water mill (which is well worth a visit) The location of the electric points however seem to cause confusion and we had to stop a campervan parking less than 2 metres from our front door rather than on... Show more

Lovely little site, excellent surroundings and very quiet. It is a working farm but caused us no issues at all. Lots of walks around you and very friendly owners. We will absolutely go back Many thanks

Very pleasant owners. The larger paddock has only 2 power posts so if these are in use then the remaining space where power is available is very cramped. Despite entry in the app and on line this site does NOT have laundry facilities; the write up needs to be changed

The site is next to the family's working farm & with that goes the sounds & smells of the countryside .... cow's mooing, hen's clucking & tractors doing their thing ....including helping you if/when you get a little stuck! Access to water/loo cleaning... Show more

BUT.. the 4 farm dogs roam freely around the site.. they are friendly, however, dogs being dogs, they cock their... Show more

Reading the reviews - we didn't have any disturbance from dogs. Just normal farm sounds, nothing unusual. We rated it highly and can not understand why some reviews were negative. Friendly welcome from the owner. It is a lovely part of the country, and we had a nice walk... Show more

We have just returned from a 6 night stay on this site. The owners were welcoming, there is no road noise, the scenery is very attractive and the facilities on site are ok BUT the noise of the farm dogs constantly barking is beyond a joke. One night they... Show more

This CL is on a working farm so there are animal noises and tractor noises but, the ease of access from the M6 (10 minutes on a busy summer Sunday afternoon) and proximity to Windermere, Grange over Sands and Boness make it an ideal touring base. I will be... Show more
