Brampton Certificated Locations

Brampton is an attractive small town near Carlisle that makes a superb base for exploring the county. It lies just two miles from Hadrian's Wall, while it is also just a few miles north of the Lake District, making lakes such as Derwent Water and Ullswater easily accessible. To the east is the southern part of the Northumberland National Park.

The border with Scotland is also very close, with the historic village of Gretna Green close by. More immediate attractions include Talkin Tarn, a small lake set in its own country park where rowing boats can be hired.

Carlisle is also a great place to explore, with its castle and plenty of good places to eat out.
