St Just is a town at the furthest reaches of Cornwall, which has the enviable benefits of being close to both the coast and the moors, offering scope for many outdoor pursuits.

Once, St Just was at the heart of the tin mining industry and there are reminders still evident to this day. They include the granite cottages built as homes for the workers and the disused engine houses dotted across the landscape.

The Plain-an-Gwarry theatre that sits in the centre of town was the site where miracle plays would have been staged in medieval times. It still hosts performers during key festivals.
