Pendennis Castle (English Heritage)
For an action-packed day out, visit Pendennis Castle – one of Henry VIII's finest seaside fortresses.
View and BookPridden Farm is situated in a quiet location half a mile from St Buryan village.
We are ideally situated to visit the nearby Minack Theatre, and transport links to Isles of Scilly, being 10 minutes drive from Lands End Airport, or 15 minutes drive from the Scillonian and Penzance Heliport.
Our site is at the top of a gently sloping field, with views over our woodland and neighbouring farmland.
We have 5 EHU’s, free outdoor WiFi, a toilet with wash basin on site, as well as laundry facilities.
Our site leads onto nearby footpaths, which will take you to St Buryan village, or the nearby stone circle, at Boscawen-un.
We have lots of wildlife on site, in addition to our five horses, and two dogs.
Ours is a peaceful, rural site. We keep the pitch area mown short, leaving the rest of the field to grow with a mown walking track around the edge. During the winter months the camping field is used for grazing our horses.
One of the most frequent comment we receive is how quiet it is by night, and also zero light pollution, perfect for star gazing, or just relaxing from the busy day to day!
We welcome dogs, politely requesting that they are kept on a lead or under control and picked up after at all times.
Pridden Farm is situated ideally to make the most of your visit to West Cornwall. Beautiful sandy beaches nearby at Sennen or Porthcurno, a short drive to the SW coast path, Lands End, and all of the delightful villages in between.
If you require any recommendations, Diana and Lucy are always happy to oblige. Having lived here for almost 40 years we know all the best places to eat, or visit, there is something for everyone.
There are two self catering units here at Pridden Farm, these sleep 2 and 4, please contact us for availability.
We also operate a local taxi firm from here, we cover all of West Penwith and beyond. We are happy to arrange transport to and from local pubs, restaurants, at a reduced fare for our guests, should you not wish to drive or walk.

We stayed on this site for four nights and it was very pleasant. We had a warm welcome, there is EHU at the top of the field (I only noted four hook-ups, but maybe there is one more somewhere). The water tap is also at the top of the field.... Show more

This is a new CL in a popular area and as such we wanted to try it out & explore this part of Cornwall. (There is another CL on the same road which we wrongly turned in to...Pridden Farm is further along nearer the village of St Buryan). We were welcomed,... Show more

Lovely location and near St Just, Sennen and Lands End. Very rough field that wasn’t kept particularly short- all vans sited at top end along a hedge- you will definitely need levelling blocks! Quite a tricky exit with a caravan from the farm track onto the road- just be careful!

Really quite site in a rural yet centrally located positioned for access to many beaches. The CL owner Lucy was most helpful & made us feel really welcome. Will definitely stay there again when next in Cornwall.
