Mevagissey Certificated Locations

Mevagissey is a village in the English county of Cornwall, nestled in a valley that faces the picturesque Mevagissey Bay.

It's the perfect place to take a traditional family holiday, as there's plenty to do for everyone yet it also has that relaxed feel you only get on the British coast.

The narrow streets of the village itself are lined with pubs, cafes, independent shops, fish and chip shops and galleries, meaning there's no shortage of refreshments and potential souvenirs.

Attractions in and around Mevagissey include the Folk Museum, the aquarium, the World of Model Railways and the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

There are also numerous opportunities to walk along beautiful coastal footpaths and even look for fossils within the interesting rock formations.

Mevagissey hosts a Feast Week each June, a Christmas lights display in November and a fancy dress celebration at New Year.
