Why stay here ...

Our site at Trevassack is a beautiful, quiet, secluded lawned site set in a sheltered valley behind the farmhouse.

Based within an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) our site is within walking distance to part of the Lizard National Nature Reserve with its unique and diverse flora and fauna.

Visitors have told us that whilst on site they have recorded as many as 50 bird species including those they only heard such as the Tawny, Barn and Little owls.

In spring the daffodils and primroses give way to bluebells, ramsons, violets and orchids around the edges.

On site we have a range on animals and are ever expanding, we offer homemade produce and fresh eggs daily to our campers. We can offer a dog sitting service if you want to go out for an evening meal or have a beach day without your beloved pooch.

Locally (within 2 miles) you can find a shop, pubs, restaurants, cafés, an arts and crafts gallery, a spa and the famous Goonhilly downs Earth station.

Directly over the road there is a Watersports Activity Centre - Trevassack Lake, who also offered a range of fantastic food throughout the day.

There is a bus stop within 0.5m.

Across the Lizard Peninsula there are various attractions such as coarse fishing (2.5m), golf (3.5m), several sandy beaches, coastal/countryside walks, and the Helford River.

Charming, secluded and quiet site

We stayed here for five nights in August. It's a charming site and we had a warm and helpful welcome. It is relatively small and sheltered, being surrounded by trees. Its facilities are basic but fine. We enjoyed the locally provided eggs, veg, jam and chutney. An added bonus of... Show more

Lovely basic CL

What a lovely little site. We enjoyed a 4 night stay in January in our 6.4m campervan. The hardstanding is the access track into the field and limited to one vehicle, in the winter do not stray off this in your vehicle as the ground can be very soft. The... Show more

This is why everyone loves the Lizard peninsula.

The site is untidy. The owners dog has free access around the site so ended up clearing up it's poo each day (following standing in poo on day 1). Wi-fi is none existent, phone signal also poor. Couldn't wait to leave unfortunately. Comment from the Club The CL owner has been in... Show more
