Lovely quiet site
Venndown Farmhouse
Booking process was quick and easy with loads of information provided about the site and surrounding area. Lovely dog walking field - a meadow of wildflowers with pathways mowed in. Although a working farm there was no disturbance.
Facilities were clean and the shower (£1) excellent.
One tiny niggle is the sideways-facing tap, which makes topping the van up quite interesting!

Venndown Farmhouse
Very nice site, super clean shower (ex£1) and toilet, quick reply when booking. Only downside is strange sideways on water tap which makes filling anything a challenge. We always carry a variety of hose connectors as having a motorhome we tour, but this didn’t fit any of them and we got soaking wet trying hence 4*

Venndown Farmhouse
We stayed at this CL for a long weekend during a warm sunny period.
It was pleasing to get a quick clear reply to the availablity enquiry - other CLs take note...
Access to the site is easy with no narrow approach lanes and good directions provided. The road adjacent to the site is very quiet.
Camilla gave us a warm friendly welcome to the site which is immaculately kept with the toilets and shower spotlessly clean.
Boscastle is about 10 minutes drive away with lots of other places within easy reach. There are plenty of local car parks to access the SW Coast Path.
Definitle a site we will return to.
Fantastic CL
Venndown Farmhouse
Arrival at this beautiful little site is easy and straightforward. The owners sent great information in advance. A board at the entrance tells you your pitch number. Setting up was good. You do need some levelling chocs. Our first evening we had a glorious sunset. There are sea views in the distance. There is a very clean shower block with one shower and 2 separate washrooms/toilets. There is an indoor swimming pool on site unfortunately, due to the low spring temperature this couldn’t be opened whilst we stayed so I can’t review this. There’s is weak phone signal for me 02 but there is WiFi which is adequate. The location is great. Very close to Boscastle, The Farm Shop there is outstanding. We had a meal at The Coombe Barton Inn at Crackington Haven which was very good.
The site has sheep, a friendly horse and two cats who came to visit us. The owners at very friendly but not intrusive at all.
We will definitely be back

Lovely site.
Venndown Farmhouse
Stayed here for first time couple of weeks ago. Had a very warm welcome. Lovely clean well kept site and immaculate toilet and shower. Would recommend. Loads of places to visit.
