Tarporley is located in the middle of Cheshire and makes a great base for exploring the county.

Fans of grand and historic buildings can head southwards to visit Beeston Castle, set in a superb location on a high crag, while Chester with its cathedral, Roman walls and historic streets is within easy reach.

To the north lies the Delamere Forest, containing 772 hectares of woodland offering great walks, several lakes and a Go Ape course.

North-east of Tarporley lies the Oulton Park racing circuit, where members of the public can book a chance to have a go at speeding round the tarmac like one of their racing or motorcycling heroes.
