Go Ape - Delamere
UK's No.1 Forest Adventure. Fly down zip-wires, leap off swings and tackle crossings across amazing scenery.
View and BookOur quiet CL is located about 4 miles from Malpas which is a picturesque village deep in the south Cheshire countryside which still retains its Norman motte and bailey castle.
Egerton Manor Farm is convenient for The Sandstone trail which is a 55-kilometre (34 mi) long distance walkers' path.
Malpas is a great base for exploring Cheshire, Shropshire and North Wales.
Malpas also hosts a regular Farmers’ Market.
Our local pub The Cholmondeley Arms hosts regular quiz nights and Jazz sessions and serves good home cooked food. Adjacent to Cholmondeley Castle, the Cholmondeley Arms is probably one of England’s most unique pubs. It sits inside a former Victorian village schoolhouse on Lord Cholmondeley’s estate. Dating back to 1862 the school was converted in 1988 and it was the first public house on the estate for over a century! The old schoolhouse was converted into a village pub pub and still maintains many of its original features.
Timothy looks forward to welcoming you to his CL.
