Why stay here ...

Our adult only site overlooks a quiet valley with many country walks nearby and yet is only 1.5 miles from the A1.

Our visitors always remark on how peaceful and accessible our site is with some wonderful sunsets.

Being dog friendly we have a large dog walk direct from site which leads onto public footpaths and very quiet lanes.

With 7 hard standings as well as grass pitches (subject to weather) you will always find a spot to suit you, full sun or part shade all our pitches have a view.

Peterborough city centre, Queensgate centre/Cathedral/Museum/River Nene, all about 17 minutes.

Stamford city centre 24 minutes.

East of England show ground with many events during the year 15 minutes.

Nene Valley Steam Railway (Wansford station) 15 minutes.

an excellent site

We have used this site on several occasions. It is within minutes of junction 16 on the A1M but is very quiet with a pretty outlook. There is a friendly welcome, plenty of space with hardstanding pitches , but levelling blocks are needed. It is ideal either as an overnight... Show more

Excellent overnight stay

Agree with all the comments. Would deter to visit here again which is the highest compliment. This site is immaculate. Only 1 thing to raise, which is the chemical waste. It doesn't drain too quickly and is shallow and fairly exposed so some splash back.

Perfect for Ferry Meadows

This site is perfect for visiting Ferry Meadows without the expense of the CAMC fees. Having bikes the cycle ride to Ferry Meadows was very straight forward. NCN12 runs directly from the campsite and goes all the way to the outskirts of Peterborough where it meets up with the vast... Show more

Quiet weekend away.

Easy to find and easy access, we are in a long twin axle. Nice tidy site, on a slope so good for views, all pitches are fairly level hard standing shingles with plenty of space around. Two smaller pitches at the top and a few bigger pitches at the bottom.... Show more

Couldn't have been much better

The title says it all really. From booking through to access to the site to the pitch itself and the general amenities the whole process was hassle free. We arrived via Stilton village, the only concern really being the turn into Church Street, which poses a slight problem due to... Show more

Loved the Red Kites

Well kept site and friendly owners. The real stars are the Red Kites that circle the site all day and perch in the trees around the site. Was able to walk to Stilton for a drink and a meal. A1 is nearby but you can’t hear it.
