Streatley Certificated Locations

Streatley is set in a delightful location on the banks of the Thames, upstream from London where the water flow is controlled by a series of fascinating locks and weirs. The river separates Streatley from the neighbouring village of Goring.

The riverside offers some fine walking, as do the nearby downs.

At the same time, the location makes a great base both for exploring the Thames Valley and also making trips into London.

There are some fine National Trust properties nearby, including Basildon Park with its Georgian manor and gardens.

Another nearby attraction is the Living Rainforest, a collection of glasshouses containing a fascinating collection of tropical plants and animals. This lies south of Streatley at Hampton Norreys.
