Bailey Pegasus 546, 6 berth, (2010)

2010 Bailey Pegasus 546, 6 berth caravan, complete with motor movers, alarm, full Isabella Ambassador Moonlight awning and lots of accessories, all you need to hitch up and go! We are the second owners from new and have owned the caravan since April 2023, the previous owners having owned it since new, and the only reason we are selling is that our teenage children (16 & 13) have now outgrown the bunkbeds. It is CRIS registered and registration can be transferred to new owners on purchase (subject to registration fee). It is in excellent condition throughout, well maintained and is regularly serviced (the last service was carried out after our most recent outing in August). This van has the Alu-Tech shell, which means that it is not prone to damp, and this is backed up by the latest damp inspection carried out during the service. Any independent inspection is also welcome. Externally, there are a few very minor indents on the side of the caravan, mainly from tree branches on narrow Cornish roads, the worst of which is shown in the photos, and two small cracks on the right side of the rear plastic bumper which were already there when we bought it and are purely cosmetic (the bodywork underneath is fine). Internally, the van is in excellent condition, completely dry, and just shows some minor signs of wear associated with age. Everything works as it should, and the only fault is that the heater and fridge/freezer do not work on gas, as the ignition is broken, which is not an issue if like us, you stay on sites that have electric hook up. This caravan was one of the highest spec models when new, and also has some factory fitted extras, including an alarm, electric remote controlled motor movers, and solar panel for electricity back-up. It has a fully fitted kitchen with sink, oven, grill and gas hob, extractor fan, microwave and fridge with separate freezer compartment. There is ample storage for crockery and a pull out drawer for cutlery and utensils which also contains a collapsable dining table which can be used in the main seating area. There is ample seating at the front of the caravan, which is arranged in a U shape, and a wooden frame can be pulled out from under the seats to create a king size bed. There are also plenty of electrical sockets and two TV arial points in the lounge area, plus a built in CD/radio, overhead storage and reading/ceiling lights and a large sunroof. Underneath the bench seats there is a fuse box and Whale water pump, which was replaced when the van was serviced last year. Opposite the kitchen is a large cupboard/wardrobe with built in heater underneath and the bathroom which has a sink, mirror, cupboards & toilet with built in flush and shower with wraparound shower curtain (shower is fully working but has never been used as we have always used shower blocks on site). At the rear of the caravan there is a separate bedroom with sliding door, which has three fixed bunk beds complete with mattresses and a seating/dining area which can be converted into another full size single bed, plus overhead storage, sunroof, reading/ceiling lights, electrical points and TV wall bracket and arial. All the windows have latches, flyscreens, blinds and curtains. The caravan will also come with a full Isabella Ambassador Moonlight awning complete with telescopic aluminium poles, pegs, full groundsheet, curtains and skirt. Also included are caravan steps, waste and water containers, hoses, hook-up leads, portable electric heaters, all manuals and paperwork, two sets of keys with alarm/immobiliser, remote control for motor movers, hitch and wheel lock, spare wheel, towing mirrors, bedding, cushions and crockery & utensils. The caravan is stored on our drive in Diss, Norfolk (IP22) so viewing can easily be arranged by appointment. Further photos are also available on request.
