These gardens in Pocklington near York feature over 80 varieties of Hardy Water Lilies (blooming between June and August). At other times you can enjoy a tulip festival, Sunday brass band concerts and activities for children. Make time for the Stewart Museum, too, which showcases artefacts collected by Major Percy Stewart. Club members benefit from two-for-one entry to the gardens and museum (or a 50% discount if you are visiting alone). The attraction is closed over the Christmas holiday period, reopening on 6 January.
