Whistlestop Valley, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

Enjoy a fun-filled day out at Whistlestop Valley and take a journey on one of their steam trains, through the ancient woodlands, surrounded by breathtaking countryside and venture into the longest tunnel on any 15 inch railway in Britain! There’s plenty of other activities to do too, including an outdoor play area and an undercover jumping pillow. Treat yourself to a sundae at the Turntable dessert parlour or enjoy a tasty lunch at The Firebox café. Club members can receive a 25% discount on all ‘Big Adventure’ tickets, when pre-booked.

Quaker Tapestry Museum, Kendal, Cumbria

Over 350 years of Quaker history is brought to life in more 40 vibrant embroidered tapestry panels that are on display in this unique and fascinating museum in the heart of Kendal in Cumbria. The stories will take you on a journey through the Quaker influence on the modern world, whilst exploring the industrial revolution and developments in science and medicine. Marvel in the craftsmanship leading to the tapestries creation that spanned over 15 years in the making. Club members can claim 20% off adult tickets, whilst accompanied children go free.

Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire, Cotswolds

Known as the home of the 12th Duke and Duchess of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, Blenheim Palace with its stunning 18^th century baroque architecture boasts over 300 years of history. Boasting more than 2,000 acres of landscaped Parkland and Gardens, this attraction is also a World Heritage Site. Caravan and Motorhome Club members can enjoy a 20% discount on the ‘Palace, Park and Gardens’ ticket, which includes entrance to the Palace State Rooms and a free audio guide. All tickets must be purchased in advance.

Ark Wildlife Park, Lincolnshire, East Midlands

Pay a visit to this award winning wildlife park and rescue sanctuary based in the East Midlands, that offers close up encounters with exotic breeds including the Eurasian Lynx, bobcats and crocodiles, as well as the more familiar types of animals including guinea pigs, ferrets and sheep. Venture into the new Jurassic Ark dinosaur area with its variety of life-like models of dinosaurs. There’s also an indoor soft play area as well as the Kalahari café offering a selection of homemade treats. Club members can receive a 20% discount on entry fee (not applicable for the café, gift shop or the animal experiences).

Scotland’s Secret Bunker, Troywood, Scotland

Uncover Scotland’s best kept secret for over 40 years at Scotland’s Secret Bunker in St Andrews. In 1953, during the Cold War, the 24,000sq ft ‘R3’-style bunker was built beneath a farmhouse, by the RAF in response to the threat of nuclear war. Examine the radar technology of the era and inspect the dormitory, the plotting rooms and mess facilities from that age. One child goes free when accompanied by a full-paying Club member.
