The Gin Bothy Experience, Glamis

Located just minutes away from Glamis castle, one of Scotland’s most beautiful castles, The Gin Bothy Experience in the historic village of Glamis is free to visitors. Explore the Bothy Beginnings room, which takes you through their Gin Bothy journey, whilst the Bothy Tales room tells the story of the Scottish Bothies. Club members can receive 10% off Gin tastings as well as 10% off purchases of 50cl and 70cl bottles of Bothy gin from Larder shop.

Barley Hall, York

Discover York’s ancient past with a visit to the restored medieval town house of Barley Hall that was once home to the Priors of Nostell and the Lord Mayor of York. Until the 1980s the building was hidden under the relatively modern façade only to be rediscovered when it was sold for redevelopment. The York Archaeological Trust purchased Barley Hall in 1987 and meticulously reconstructed the site to its Medieval glory. As a Club member, you can get one child ticket for free with a paying adult, pre-booking is required.

The National Wool Museum, Llandysul

Wool was historically the most important and widespread of Wales’s industries and at the National Wool Museum, you can learn all about the journey from fleece to fabric and visit the sympathetically restored listed mill buildings and historic machinery. Located in the picturesque village of Dre-fach Felindre in the stunning Teifi Valley, this was once the centre of a thriving woollen industry, earning the nickname “The Huddersfield of Wales”. As a Club member you’ll receive a 10% discount on most items in the gift shop.
