Railways

Climb aboard one of East Lancashire Railway’s heritage steam and diesel trains and soak up the beautiful scenery as you journey back to days gone by, through the charming villages in the Irwell Valley. Stop off and visit the Transport Museum dedicated to transport memorabilia, vintage vehicles and interactive exhibits. Club members can get two-for-the-price-of one tickets offer.

Animals

Known as the ‘little zoo with lots to do’, Lakeland Wildlife Oasis in Cumbria is perfect for families to visit where they can get up close to over 100 species of insects, fish, birds, reptiles and mammals. Tours

A must-do for any whisky enthusiast! Go on a tour the whisky distillery at the Dewar’s Fine Scotch Whisky Emporium and sample some drams as you discover how they double age for extra smoothness.
