Job Title: Front of House Assistant
Responsible to: General/Complex Manager - Seacroft

Purpose of the Job: To provide a friendly, helpful and efficient service to our guests, whilst maintaining levels of hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with the Club guidelines and standards.

Key Tasks/Accountabilities:

  • Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude to guests, ensuring good customer service is achieved at all times.
  • Operate electronic till, following Caravan and Motorhome Club procedures.
  • Maintain stock levels and displays in order to maximise potential sales, following Caravan and Motorhome Club guidelines.
  • Maintain clean and tidy areas, follow safe manual handling procedures for products and equipment, both in accordance with Hygiene and Health & Safety regulations.
  • Actively identify potential risks and hazards within the workplace. Assist the line manager to achieve this and to ensure, where the risk or hazard cannot be adequately controlled, the line manager is notified and appropriate action agreed and implemented.
  • Ensure all incidents, including near misses, are reported, recorded and investigated, in line with current Caravan and Motorhome Club procedures.
  • Help to increase revenue for the Club by promoting products and services.
  • Actively promote a welcoming environment to our guests, and be helpful and approachable at all times.
  • Ensure personal appearance and uniform, along with product and food presentation, always meet Caravan and Motorhome Club standards.
  • Ensure that you support the department meeting its internal targets with regards to revenue, Hygiene audit restults, staffing budgets, KPIs and stock take results.
  • Ensure areas areas are staffed correctly in accordance with quiet/busy periods.
  • Report feedback from guests and the team, suggesting ways in which the area can increase revenue.
  • Look for ways in which to increase revenue on a daily and monthly basis.
  • Maintain an effective and friendly working relationship with colleagues to promote a constructive working environment, both in the complex and throughout the site.
  • Be prepared to undertake all reasonable tasks required to ensure consistent running of the site.
  • Provide a consistent level of service and cover by maintaining the standards and working practives in accordance with the requirements of your area.
