LOW 10% refundable deposit plus FREE cancellations and FREE amendments*

Planted with silver birch, rowan and flowering cherry, Slinfold Club Campsite is a gem nestled at the end of a country lane on the edge of a pretty stone-roofed village. The caravan park is ideal for a relaxing holiday break at one of our favourite West Sussex campsites, offering an amazing variety of wildlife, lovely walking trails and well-kept cycle routes, including the South Downs Link to the North Downs which follows a quaint old railway line adjacent to the site. Slinfold Caravan Club Campsite is a haven for dogs, with many walks directly from the site and the dog-friendly Red Lyon pub only a 15 minute walk away.

Slinfold Club Campsite has a reception area built on the spot of an old railway station which was closed in 1965 - fascinating pictures of this piece of local history are on display. The nearby village of Slinfold is a charming place to wander, with its rose-covered cottages still retaining their old names such as The Tannery and Forge Cottage. Local people extend a warm welcome to visitors, particularly at fete and flower festival times which are memorable events for young and old alike. The site is well located for visiting the nearby towns of Horsham, Guildford and Dorking or exploring the south coast. Please note: some noise can be expected from nearby factory.

Please note: this site does not have a toilet block.

Nice clean site, friendly wardens, pretty village including shop and pleasant pub plus great walks and cycling literally on door step. What's not to like?

Fantastic!

Slinfold Club Campsite
As a family it was our first time ever in our new caravan, and we had the best time! Carol and Trevor looked after us the whole weekend and could not have been more friendly, caring, knowledgeable and helpful - they really did make all the difference to our stay and we could not be more grateful for making our first time so enjoyable! The site was lovely and friendly, situated in a beautiful and idyllic country village, walkable and within a few mins of bigger stores. So peaceful and clean - we couldn't recommend highly enough. Great time had by all! Thanks

Lovely Spot

Slinfold Club Campsite
We had a lovely 2 nights at the site which was immaculately kept. The noise coming from the industrial unit the other side of the downs link which started so very early in the morning was a bit of a problem. Our dog is very nervous about noise and this did not really help. Aside from that that site was so very quiet at night. The village shop was ideal for essential bits and also sold local meat ...the sausages were lovely. To have the shop and a pub within walking distance was good. We did not eat the in the pub but did go and have a drink and they were very dog friendly. The pitch was allocated to us and perhaps given a choice we would have preferred grass nearer the entrance. The drive over grey waste disposal we felt was in a very awkward place right by the entrance so we used a bucket to instead and carried to the point nearer to our pitch. Being right on the Downs Link Way gave us many walking and cycling opportunities. We would probably return if we were in the area.

The Friendliest CAMC site in the UK (in my humble opinion)

Slinfold Club Campsite
Our welcome was a delightful experience and we really felt valued as members. The wardens were so helpful with tips and advice - nothing was too much trouble. We did have a problem (my fault) with getting power from the bollard but the wardens showed me how to plug in in a jiffy and with good humour. They were quite happy to chat with us and didn't mind us interrupting their tea break. Definitely the friendliest and most helpful site I've visited. We'll be back. On the possible downside, it can be a little noisy with aircraft landing/departing from Gatwick (about 15 miles away) but you get used to that fairly quickly. No toilets or showers but we knew that. Might be nice to have a toilet block in future though.
