My wife, son and I enjoyed a really lovely break here for two weeks in early July. A lovely site excellently managed by the team of hard-working friendly wardens who were always positive and helpful. A fabulous location to visit some beautiful villages and towns nearby together with several National Trust properties. The Hare and Hounds is a very busy but good pub - you must book for the Sunday carvery they serve up to 1000 meals on that day - but the standard remains high. We enjoyed the Dairy Café in Sidmouth for good coffee and cream teas and a nice selection of Deli items. We also particularly enjoyed visits to Branscombe, Beer Quarry caves and NT Knightshayes. A good holiday - Sandringham next.
