A great weeks stay

Just returned from a week long stay at Putts Corner, this was our first ever stay on this site and we were not disappointed, as with other Caravan Club sites the Wardens should hold their heads up high cleanliness of the facilities were second to non the Hare and Hounds pub (5 minute walk) was a lovely bonus great beer and food, great location for visiting Ottery St Mary, Sidmouth, Budliegh Salterton, Seaton, we'll be back soon.

Another great stay

Once again another great mini break for the Sidmouth festival. Recent upgrades are very good and the site is kept in great condition...well done to all site staff who are always very helpful and friendly. Our only comment would be about the number of trees, which do make quite a number of pitches a bit too shady in some areas, if these could be looked at it would be brilliant. The boules area was put to good use along with wine and snacks....great fun!!

Another stay at this lovely site

A return visit for us to a site we love. Good bus service to Sidmouth, Exeter and Honiton which in turn link to other destinations but be aware service stops early evening. W e do not normally visit this site during school holidays but the fact that the play facilities are small means there are not too many children around if like us you travel without any ! We only had one night this time but we will be back in September. The site was full but spotlessly clean and we did not have to wait in the shower block.

Putts Corner

Stayed here on way back from Cornwall. Wardens are lovely and the best I have met on cc sites of late. Site is quiet and well kept. Area well worth a visit. Got a play area but could do with a games field but this is common on a lot of cc sites. Resorted my faith in cc after a few indifferent visits over past 12 months. Well done wardens, first class.

Good 6 nights in East Devon

Convenient spot for touring in East Devon, with good access from/to main routes. Site excellent EXCEPT for very very poor wifi internet (most of the time couldnt get connected, or very very slow). Nice pitch (50) and friendly helpful staff, despite us arriving fairly late in the day (though booked). Pub within 5 mins walk is top-rate; and £1 discount from Club for first visit. Lovely walks in this part of East Devon. Retired couple.

enjoyable stay

Had an enjoyable stay at Putts Corner. Stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of August. The only difficulty we had was with our arrival. Not being allocated a pitch but being asked to choose anyone that was free we didn't find easy. As we are new this year to the world of caravans we had nearly driven round the Putts Corner site before we found a pitch. We were thinking we would have to get the warden to lift the barrier so we could go round again. This was our first Caravan Club site so don't know if this is something we will find on any future sites. Thank you.

Good Time At Putts Corner

A very enjoyable stay at Putts Corner in the last week of June. The site was full and busy, space between pitches a little more cramped than some other site we've been to, but only a small point to raise. Wardens always greeted us smile and warm welcome, site was tidy, clean, and well maintained. Possible a lack of children's paly area might put some off. A great location for walking and getting to some great countryside.

Opening times of Office

There was dog mess on the site, when I reported it to a warden and told him that it had been trodden in, his answer was "Well people should look where they are walking". We were disappointed that despite there being both wardens and assistant wardens that the reception and shop were closed at lunchtime for an hour at least. On every other site we have been on the shop has been open all day, we thought it inconvenient if there is an arrival during the closed period.
