Immaculately maintained site and great location

A gem of a site just a short walk from Ludham Bridge. Site wardens were lovely and clearly work very hard to keep the site in immaculate condition. Most of the site is very open plan and our first night was a little tense with lots of kids tearing around on bikes and scooters between and around vans, but I guess you should expect that in August. Moved to a quiter pitch nearer the site entrance on day 2. There are a number of pleasant walks and cycle rides from the campsite alongside the waterways and through woods and fields. Highly recommend a trip to How Hill, just a couple if miles by car. Free parking in a very large grass car park with plenty of space for games and picnic and lovely views over the fens. Walk round the formal and secret gardens (donations) and a nature trail (entrance fee). A great and cheap day out on a sunny day. All in all an excellent site and will definitely return.

Kids on bikes and scooters riding around the site should be expected. kids tearing around on bikes and scooters between and around vans, should not be.
