Good for families

Good location & beautifully maintained but unimaginative layout

What we liked: a) good location at centre of Norfolk Broads; b) ability to go on walks and cycling along rivers and to ruined abbey direct from campsite c) site very well maintained and spotlessly clean d) social distancing well managed Room for Improvement: a) design layout of site is without any imagination - just like a green car park; pitch sizes are fine, but there are no trees or hedges - all the pitches are pretty much the same with no variety and no privacy - it did not spoil our enjoyment, but you will definitely not remember this site for it being different or special; (Unfortunately often the case with the Caravan Club - I guess due to origins and history of the Club - you have to go to small privately owned sites to find something really different/ creative/ special in terms of design and layout. The Club wins back points on uniformity and consistency and quality... but that's a debate for another day...) b) this site attracts dog owners/ lovers, not all well behaved, and producing a lot of extra noise (barking, yapping, etc. especially in mornings and evenings - definitely detracts from the peacefulness of the site. Overall very satisfied, would definitely stay here again
