First Visit with a Motorhome.
This is a lovely site with great wardens who are very helpful and cheerful.
If you like sailing up the Broads or walking it is ideal. Great if you have a caravan.
However we have a Motorhome and visited because the C&M Club recommends cycling. The site is off a busy main road ( although you can push/ cycle along the pavement ) I would only recommend it for very experienced cyclists and definitely not for young children.
There are a number of cycle routes once you get off the main road - one requires cycling along the side of a farmers field (okay if the weather is good) before getting to the cycle route.
We managed two good cycle routes one to Hickling Broad on quiet roads but didn't do the circular route back as it followed the main roads. Another was to the Abbey close by.
My advice is do your research beforehand if you want to cycle from the site unless you are an experienced cyclist.
