August Holiday

Just had two weeks at this lovely site. The warden team were so friendly and in our opinion the most approachable, welcoming and engaging we have ever come across within the club network, a real credit. The site is kept Immaculate. Noise only came from the occasional airplanes dogfighting as there is an airforce base nearby, but this did not spoil our visit as they were relatively infrequent. The site is well placed to visit the broads and in our opinion the onsite facilities suit couples or families with younger children. Those with teens should consider the Comer site as an alternative. The dog walk was adequate but not suitable for letting your dogs off lead, there are nice riverside walks that are within a short walking distance from the site. We would recommend the walk to How Hill to visit the gardens and tearoom. For those who like to buy local try a visit to Ken's shed. A small holder produces and sells seasonal fruit, veg & eggs. High quality food from his little shed run as an honesty box. We would revisit this site again.
