Superb - only let down by the dog walk

We stayed here for a week in May and without question this is one of the best kept sites in the network, and that without question s down to the wardens who do a superb job. The club have obviously spent a great deal of money improving the services and that is clear to see. The location is just down from Ludham Bridge where you can have some great walks along the river, and the same distance in the opposite direction is the Dog Inn, good food at very reasonable prices (and they welcome dogs). My only criticism is that the dog walk could so easily be made a dog run by the addition of 2 meters of fencing and a gate. As a dog owner I should therefore award 4 stars, but the site is too good in other areas to do that. We shall definitely be returning.

Great site well situated and peaceful

I feel I don't want to be too glowing about this site otherwise I may be unable to bet onto in future. It is a very peaceful site with good walks and lots to do in the area. The staff are really pleasant and helpful. They keep the site wonderfully well. A joy to visit.

Good Site, Good Location

The site was spotlessly clean, the wardens were friendly, helpful and visible around the site despite being wardens down when we were there. The kids playground seemed to be well used by the few children on site and looked well equipped. Location is good for getting around the area - Broads, coast and NT properties all of which come with walks of varying lengths and with things to see.. Cafe in Ludham is friendly and not far from the site. The directions to the site are good but the club's new branded sign is hard to spot (even knowing where the entrance is) so slow down after passing the pub mentioned in the instructions. It's not a difficult entrance - just a slightly hidden one. Enjoy. We did..

Lovely Norfolk

Enjoyed a bank holiday weekend at the lovely site. Excellent friendly and helpful wardens always with a smile or joke. Facilities spotlessly clean. We were on a serviced pitch all very neat, clean and tidy. Fish and chip van visited during our stay, very nice can recommend. There are nice walks to Ludham and along the river banks. Within a short walk there is a local grocery shop for newspapers and general bits n bobs and a pub - though we didn't go to the pub. Thank you lovely wardens for your hospitality. Will definitely be back.

Lovely Ludham

Had a short stay here just after Easter and thoroughly enjoyed it. The wardens were so friendly and ensured our stay was everything it should be. Great facilities as usual and a pub within short walking distance for food (if you don't want to cook) and a nice pint. Took advantage of Enterprise car hire through the Club and experienced no problems through their Great Yarmouth branch. New fully serviced pitches good. Handy location for touring The Broads.

First time here

First time at this site but won't be the last for us it was excellent. Good places to walk our dog just off site. Nice roomy pitches very friendly and helpful wardens facilities very clean and warm could do with a few more toilet cubicles in the gents but not a big problem. We had a lovely time there very easy for exploring the lovely broads. Had to give one star for families as n/a to us and wouldn't let me finish without put something in. J & A

perfect site

This site being in a central location is perfect for exploring the Norfolk Broads. The site and toilet / showers are spotlessly clean and tidy. Only a two minute walk to the river which has a small shop and cafe, two minutes in the other direction is the pub! Lots of nice walks from the site mostly on footpaths following the river, and as it is Norfolk they are mostly all on the flat and level!! Will certainly return, however my only gripe, would be the increasing number of, not very well trained and 'yapping' dogs that some caravaners have !!!!

Brilliant Short Stay on a Great Camp site.

We stayed for the Easter weekend and had a great time loads to do leaving the Car on site we done lots of walking using maps from the Wardens. We walked to How Hill along the river and looked in Toad Hall a once River Mans House , we then went around How hill Gardens which were open what a view across the Broads . We also walked to Potter Hiiegham along the River getting out walking you meet some really nice people to chat to very refreshing and that did not have their head stuck in their phones. We also went to Wroxham and Wroxham Barns where you can find local artisans selling all sorts of stuff worth a visit. We also went out and about on our bikes the main roads can be a bit daunting with motorists who have no respect for cyclists ,so just a reminder to club Members be kind to cyclists do not try to rush close by cyclists and cut them up you are on holiday what difference does a few seconds make to your journey. Thank you. The site is ideally located for the area, the site was impeccable and the Wardens were so friendly really made you feel at home which i think resulted in a very friendly atmosphere around the site got to talk to lots of people on site sharing experiences which is what life is about. Will certainly go back still lots to do and explore and to meet our holiday friends who live in Horning again one of the best sites we have stayed on.
