Having just returned back home after a lovely week here. We would just like to say a very big thank you to the wardens at this site. We were made to feel very welcome at all times, nothing was too much trouble. The site, toilets and shower block were spotless. The local pub a short walk from the site, called The Dog had a lovely atmosphere, the food and Saturday nights entertainment was good, and they welcome dogs in or outside of the pub. In the opposite direction also about a five minute walk are the Broads with a shop, café and lovely riverside walks and space to launch a canoe, boat hire either all day or half days available. Once again thank you and we will see you soon. Wendy, Pip and Daisy the dog Phillips

Transformation of site

Just back from our fourth 9 night stay this year. Every visit there was something that had been cleaned up or replanted. The Wardens are more than helpful and go out of there way to make you welcome, and on one of our visits we had a problem with our wifi, and they made phone calls to help us out.It also amazes me what can be done with and old bit of wood and a little bit of thought. this has to be one of the tidiest and best planted sites in the club. When taking to the Warden about this I was quickly told it was all a team effort and not down to one person. I have been coming here for a good number of years and have never seen a site change so much for the good .So keep up the good work and look forward to seeing you all in September.

Charming

Chose this site as it was near a dealer I wanted to visit. Well what as site. I had just come from another club site where the staff were terse. Here the staff were friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of the area. The site is well laid out and open, it appeared that all pitches got the sun. Its in an excellent area for walking and boating, with it being near a staith the is a well stocked convenience store and walking shop. The walk to the abbey is well worth it. This site is now first on my list when visiting Norfolk.

Wow

I had high hopes due to the reviews seen on here and i was not disappointed. The site is very welcoming, the staff welcoming helpful and knowledgeable. They were always cheerful and I never heard a raised voice. The facilities are well maintained as expected on the clubs high standards. We had the most relaxed sunny and warm holiday. We packed away on Saturday to get an early start home Sunday but unfortunately when I went into the office to say goodbye I came out to find the OH under the car. The radiator had sprung a leak. We had to call Greenflag. We eventually left the site well after the 12 noon deadline but the staff ensures we were safe by coming our outfit so that all were safe. Yes over and above. So if you want an enjoyable and relaxed holiday this is the site for you. There is a lovely large play area for the kids and a boule pitch.

A lovely site

This is a lovely site in every respect. We visited in June. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. They were obviously enjoying their job and were very proud of their site. You sometimes read about the ridgidity of the caravan club with rules etc - this was not a bit like that. The site, particularly with these wardens was excellent!

Excellent site in a great location

This is a lovely site, with great facilities and attentive and friendly wardens. We visited in late June and was pleased with the location of the site. Just a short walk finds the river, where you can hire a boat for the day, or watch the boats pass you. You also have the Wayfarer cafe, with excellent food, from breakfast to evening. The site facilities are immaculate. The wardens are very friendly and attentive. They even set up a Boules tournament on the sites own Boules court, a really fun evening, bringing campers together. There is a pub a short walk from site, we didn't try this, but those that have, gave good reviews. We'll be looking to return to this delightful site and recommend it to all.

Excellent Site

We stayed here for a week last week. It is an excellent site. The wardens are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are absolutely immaculate as is the whole site. The wardens work very hard to keep the site looking so good.. We stayed on a serviced pitch and the only disappointment was that the trees and bushes behind one side of the pitches have all been severely cut back which meant that we had no shade and very little privacy at the back. Ludham Bridge is good location. There is an excellent little store next to the bridge and also a café and outdoor clothing shop. We walked up to the pub one evening for a drink and got a very friendly welcome from the landlord. We went on a very good wildlife boat trip from Horsey Staithe with a very knowledgeable guide. We were lucky as the day we went they were lowering the new cap and sail on Horsey Wind Pump which was wonderful to watch. We would also recommend East Ruston Old Vicarage garden which is absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful week and hope to return.
