First Class Site.

From booking on the phone to arrival at the site you automatically get a very warm welcome from the wardens. We were in a motorhome and used one of the fully serviced pitches. The site was spotless and well looked after I would say it was one of the best club sites we have stayed on. There are good walks from the site and the local village is only a short walk away through country lanes. A fish and chip shop was on site one evening and the fish was excellent. We would certainly visit this site again.

Great Site.

What a hidden gem this site is, the club should be very proud to have it on their site register. The Wardens are fantastic and the way they look after the site is beyond what we have seen at other club sites-- the place is spotless. Just want to say thank you to them for a great week break, and we shall definitely be back.

Brilliant break

We stayed for 5 nights in late September. The wardens were terrific people, showing great friendliness and helpfulness throughout the stay. The site is close (250yds) from the River Ant so you can watch boat traffic for hours, or visit the cafe /shops at Ludham Bridge. Our "Local", the Dog Inn, is about 150yds in the other direction, serving real ale and tasty food. There are numerous country footpaths to Ludham Village, which has a tearoom (tiny but quaint with good service) and a pub as well as a few shops. A bus service stops about 50 yds from the site and we used it to go to Horning, one of the prettiest Broads villages. We also took the opportunity to take the motorhome up to Cromer, where you can park on the clifftop and gaze out to sea while enjoying the fare from the small takeaway coffee shop. There are lots of other possibilities for days out given the proximity of the Broads, the beaches / seaside and Norwich. Our dogs were well catered for by the onsite exercise area (small but very useful early and late in the day) and the riverside walks. The facilities were clean and sound and closure for cleaning happened at sensible times and with "emergency" access to the family room - a much better arrangement than I have seen at other sites. I can't find anything to criticize at all, but just to point two things out - it can get rather dark so make sure you have a decent torch and the batteries work (doh!); and there is a farm next door so you may hear a bit of machinery operating and / or the odd faint whiff....... It was great to go back to an area where I spent a lot of childhood holidays, not least because so much of it is still recognizable and the charm hasn't been lost.

Fantastic site to stay

Very warm welcome, great place to stay if you want to visit the Norfolk Broads, plenty to in the local area or relaxing if you want to chill. Toilet block is spotless and well maintained, good size shower cubicles. Staff are friendly and helpful. A visit to Horsey to sit by the Seals on the beach is a must to experience. You won't be disappointed with this site.

Fantastic camp site

Excellent greating when me and my husband arrived on site very friendly and helpful wardings kept the place looking clean and tidy, toilet and shower block very clean at all times. Dispite the odd camper thinking it's the warding job to clean up after there dogs and not themself's and there was plenty of dog bins to dispose of it to, they also have a place to take your dog though a bit small but then you have a lovely walk near the river. I Would go back again as had a fantastic holiday and it's right near the river and there is a fiendly cafe and a friendly shop just up the road.and great places to eat out if that's your cup tea.

Unbeatable site and Wardens

This is a lovely site, for visiting the Broads of Norfolk. Quiet, clean and unspoilt. Wardens keep it so clean and they go out of their way to help you and make your stay a happy and relaxed holiday. It is all thanks to the Team of Wardens of 2017 that has made this site unbeatable, two experienced wardens and two newbies, the newbies had good guidance and looked so happy in their work. The experienced wardens are and have been unbeatable within Norfolk. May it continue. We will be back. Thank you so much.

Brilliant site

Just returned from a weekend at this fantastic site. It is a great location for exploring the north rivers and within easy reach of the East coast. The site its self has good access, is well layed out and is very well looked after. I have to say that I think the wardens ( and I spoke to all 4) are the friendliest and most helpful I have come across which made this site a pleasure to stay at. We will certainly return.
