Excellent!

Great location for walks and cycling around the Broads. Wardens extremely helpful and thoughtful, site is neat and tidy as are all the facilities, showers etc. Very pleasant 6 night stay!

A nice site spoilt by noise

Sadly this lovely spot is spoilt by noise from the dog that barks a lot on the adjoining property and the joy riding aerobatics overhead morning and afternoon. Undoubtedly a good base for touring with your car but for those looking for walks from the site itself they begin and end by negotiating a busy road. However the site facilities are top notch, well cared for and the wardens could not be more friendly and helpful.

Absolute gem

What an absolute gem. Having decided to tour Norfolk, this site wasn't even on our radar but we had a week to fill en route and found this site - and what a find! This has to be one of the best sites we've ever stayed on. Immaculate facilities, the best wardens we've encountered and a great layout. You couldn't wish for a warmer and more friendly welcome. Good sized pitches. Wonderful flower baskets and immaculately kept pitches and grass areas. Vans leave and within minutes the wardens on cutting the grass for the next visitors. Done and ready in minutes. waste and rubbish areas, hosed down every morning and toilet/shower facilities absolutely spotless. The Dog pub within walking distance, nothing special but a nice beer garden for a cool drink, food mediocre. Lovely villages and beaches all within a 30 min drive. The 2hr Broads boat trip from Wroxham an absolute must. ÂŁ11 we'll spent. Loved this site and understand now why it's so busy. Will definitely be back.

Ludham Bridge

We enjoyed our stay at the Norfolk Broads site which is at Ludham Bridge, not Ludham itself. The site is well cared for and spacious although not the most attractive of club sites with long rows of vans. We were disappointed to find there is no longer a local bus service going past the site so transport is essential. As we didn't want to move our motorhome on a fairly short stay we made the best of the locality. This meant a nice walk out to St Benet's Abbey (turn left out of the site along the grass verge and take the first footpath sign) a good place to take a picnic on a warm day. We had a meal at the Dog Inn next door to the site, basic pub grub, also just round the corner on the lane behind the pub is "Ken's Shed" where there is a good selection of seasonal fruit and veg and an honesty box attached. The local shop down by the river Ant is basic but sells newspapers etc. My other half enjoyed some good fishing on the Ant and there is an angling shop for bait just a short stroll from the site.

A SPACE AT LAST !!

We recently stayed for a long weekend. Having tried to book here before, we have been unlucky and we can see why. Very friendly Staff, the Site is kept very clean and tidy, and the Flower Display is wonderful. About 100yds to the left of the Site entrance is a Shop selling most requirements including Newspapers. There is also a Café, a Fishing Tackle shop and the River. 100yds to the right of the entrance is The Dog Pub with friendly Staff and `pub` food, and where dogs are permitted. Not far from the Coast and National Trust Properties.

great site.

Lovely site, easy access. Pub within walking distance, serves good food, dog friendly. Lots of cycle routes and walking routes. Ludham, which is a miles walk away, has a small store and excellent butchers. Site is immaculate and the wardens were the most friendliest and helpful we have met so far. Chip van leaves a bit to be desired to be honest but on the second night they were there the queue was 16 deep so might have just been us ! The site is quiet, clean and well situated so everything you need for a good holiday. (oh and don't be surprised to find a chicken or a duck in your awning)

Really friendly campsite

A really friendly campsite. Reception were incredibly helpful and very friendly, nothing seemed to much trouble. They were really knowledgeable about the area which proved very useful. As 5 stars suggests the site is really clean, regularly maintained and very green. The hard stand for our motorhome was huge and there was also a small grass are to erect a gazebo. If you have kids there is a fenced off park area where our kids spent most of there time, making friends! The only slight downside which is not of the campsite itself, but it is not as close to amenities as the introduction on the site page might suggest. Having a motorhome we always try to stay at sites that are within walking distance to towns / attractions etc and although it reads as if the site is, it isn't and you do need to drive to get about. The river may only be 180m from the site but it is just a boat yard and not much going on, although you can have a short walk along the canel. That said The Dog pub is a 5 min stroll from the site, that serves food (which is ok) and it has a little play area for the kids. We did however, have a wonderful stay and the kids loved it. We would definitely recommend a stay at Norfolk Broads.

An excellent site, please don't change it!

This was our third visit to this site, and as always, it was excellent. The wardens were very friendly and happy to help. The site is flat and not especially eye catching, but it is practical and has a sensible one way system. The site is well placed to explore the broads, the North Norfolk Coast, Great Yarmouth, or Norwich. We have now adopted this as our "Local" site for short trips when we don't have much time.

Caravan Club at it's best

We have just returned from this site and we have to say that this is one of the best C.C sites we have stayed at and we have been caravaning for 40 years. The wardens are excellent and the site is immaculate. It is a long journey for us from Herefordshire, nevertheless we will be making that journey next year.............................WARDENS, thank you.

First. Visit

We arrived at this site after a long journey from Broadway. We were greeted by the lovely lady on reception (sorry I forgot your name). The reception area doubles as a little shop, there are pre loved items for sale as well. A fish and chip van comes to site, the facilities are spotless and the wardens very friendly. They work hard to keep this site in top condition. We had an all service pitch which was nice and our own fault was we stuck ourself on the end of the road which felt a bit like we were in a goldfish bowl sometimes. Apart from that if we are ever in this neck of the woods again we would go back. Give it a try, you will love it. Also try the Mississippi Riverboat trip at nearby Horning. Lovely places to eat close by too, thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the weather was fantastic!
