Merrose Farm is a very pretty and well kept site. It is peaceful and quiet with lots of trees, bushes and wild flowers. The toilet block etc are all clean, the showers are spacious , information hut is well stocked and the wardens are helpful and friendly. Fish and chips from the van on Friday evening were lovely-enormous portions! The childrens play park on site is one of the biggest/best I've ever seen on a club site. The area is great for walking, there's some very quiet and unspoilt beaches within a couple of miles walk. We visited Portscatho, Pendower beach, St Mawes, Truro, St Ives, Mevagissey and St Austell and loved them all for different reasons. I would totally recommend this site and area for a relaxing holiday off season (end of May).
