Just returned from a long weekend and we must say, what a delightful site. I understand why they say not to arrive before 12 noon as the approach is steep and single track so meeting another unit would be a bit tricky to say the least. The Wardens in my opinion are the best I have met on the numerous Club sites we have visited, exceptionally welcoming, helpful and friendly. The site itself is very well maintained, very peaceful, the facilities although a little dated, spotlessly clean even with an almost full site. Good surrounding areas for Dog walks and the Wenseleydale Railway runs past the site which I found interesting. Leyburn is a short walk away with ample shops and pubs. If I was being "pickie" I would say the ONLY negatives are the TV reception is not good but saying that we don't go away to watch TV and possibly Wifi would be a good addition. Overall though, excellent, already booked to go back in four weeks time, CANNOT WAIT!!!
