We are just back from an 8 night stay which was a last minute decision on our part. The site is away from any main roads and is as peacefull as you could get, just the odd tractor distant in the fields. A good selection of hard and grass pitches available but be aware there is no toilet block (OK for us), no play area for the kids, in fact you get a pitch with electrics and the normal water/waste facility. But at CL prices would you expect more? WiFi is only a 'Hotspot' near the site entrance/Reception. One criticism, as mentioned in other reviews, there is a process of currently removing trees and shrubs at the hands of chainsaw weilding contractors. We were subjected close by our pitch (10 - 15 feet) an early morning alarm of chainsaw activity. (Not so peaceful site now!) Apparently the removal will make way for the areas being grassed over. To make room for more pitches I enquired? Apparently not so. Just more grassed area. The annoying part to this is that we were not informed that there would be contractors working close by and a small tractor running back and forth across the front of our pitch. Despite this would we come back? Yes, just for the general peace and quiet.
