To the Gower we went.

A lovely site and a good place from which to explore the Gower. Be prepared to drive and it is great. The nearby train line was no real problem but there are a lot of noisy cars in the area. The staff were great and the facilities are very clean. It was fairly quiet when we were there and the showers barely coped I imagine when it is busy they will not be sufficient. Another toilet block would be a big plus. The Fish and Chip delivery is a good idea but they are not the best but then again getting good Fish and Chips in Wales is never easy.

Very nice 2 day visit

This is lovely site in a convenient area for touring the gower and Swansea. The welcome from wardens and information room was very good. The facilities were kept to a very high standard. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay meeting up with some friends who live Neath. Would we return. Yes

Three Night Stay at Gowerton

We stayed for three nights at Gowerton in August. Very friendly warden and beautiful well kept site. Good showers and toilet block. Recommend the Fish and Chip shop in Gowerton. The dog walk is a good size but it gets very muddy - you'll need wellies. We were on a grass pitch which my husband prefers as he can get the awning up super quick but it backed onto the road into the site. Cars raced along this road with their music blaring all day which really spoiled the tranquility. Good little play area. Great access to surfing beaches.

First Site

On my way to a CL in Pembrokeshire, so thought I would break up the journey with a couple of nights here. First time I have been on a large club site, so wasn't sure. No worries this was a real find. Everyone was so friendly. The location was lovely well laid out and peaceful. Staff were great - informative and helpful. Facilities were spotless, showers were boiling My 2 dogs loved the ease of access to walks on and especially off site. The Gower is stunning. Thanks to all - I'll be back.

Peaceful & Welcoming

We have stayed here quite a few times over the last 15 months, its a lovely quiet site, even when full. Fish & Chips delivered on a Friday & Saturday evening is ever so handy. Toilet blocks are always spotless and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Access to the Gower is great. We don't live that far away from the site and could go further afield, but there really is no need. Nat & Chris Gould

Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Paul and Ann are first class and can't fault them in any way. The site is professionally run, very friendly and welcoming :)

A good site, but location is indifferent.

Stayed 3 nights Aug 15 - Motorhome. The Site itself is nice with nothing to criticise.  But Gowerton itself is rather gloomy, and the nearest pub The Welcome to Gower, would not win any awards - below par really. However by foot or bike there are some good trails nearby ..... The old Railway line goes all the way to Llower Sketty and the Mumbles beach ..... A good healthy bike ride or long walk. The North Coast of Gower needs good weather to enjoy. The B4295 was very busy & you need to cycle on the Wales Coast Path as much as possible. We reached Llanrhidian & the friendly Dolphin pub before the chill headwind defeated us. To get to Rhossili you need a car. The buses seem very infrequent. Overall impression.... Glad we tried it but would try elsewhere next time.
