After not getting away since early December , a three day stay was very welcome.
We did notice that the traffic noise did seem worse than we have noticed previously, but perhaps we were closer than before.
Wardens doing an amazing job under almost impossible conditions and still staying cheerful.
It was the first week of opening, so procedures were shaking down a bit.
The wristband system of entry to the facilities block is easy to understand IF ANYONE EVER READS ANYTHING THAT IS PRINTED.!!!!!!!!!!!
Only three at a time in each side seemed a bit overcautious, and perhaps a block of this size would take five a side, to reduce the queues that were occasionally in evidence,
We use an old caravan with only a toilet compartment, but why do people spend an arm and a leg on all singing,all dancing vans and motorcaravans, with every possible home comfort and still queue to use site facilities. The oft quoted stat that only about 20% of owners use on board showers seems well borne out,
Site beautiful as we have come to expect from CAMC sites.
One aspect may merit consideration when facilities blocks are renovated or newly built, and that is separating access to W.C.s from Showers, to enable W.C,s to be more available, God forbid we should go through all this again.
